Kat is a graduate of Pacific College of Health and Science. Moving to the US (New York City) as a teenager, she gained a love of learning about new cultures and people all over the world, leading her to live in Japan for a handful of years during her 20s, which molded her holistic view of health. As a mother, she believes that gentle care can never come too early or too late, and it is important for a client to feel heard, to be seen as a whole complete person looking for balance, instead of a symptom of dysfunction. She also believes in the importance of Trauma-informed care. In her free time, Kat can be seen knitting/crocheting, while listening to an audiobook. Kat has been drawn to working with people in many capacities, over time she saw the great difference gentle touch could make when it came to healing not just the body, but the mind and spirit as well. This inspired her to put her focus into massage to aspire to provide gentle healing touch to others. Healing is when a person finds their way back to their attunement of body-mind-spirit, what makes them fundamentally the unique person they are.
