Gerrard is a Licensed Massage Therapist who received his education at Pacific College of Health and Science in NYC under some of the best teachers in the industry. As a professional stage, tv, and film actor based in NYC, Gerrard understands the importance of rejuvenation and stress relief in one of the busiest cities in the world. Growing up as an athlete and an avid martial artist for the past 25 years, Gerrard developed a passion for understanding the body. His favorite part of the work is when a client tells him they feel a sense of relief that enables them to approach their week with renewed energy. Working with his clients gives him a sense of gratitude and purpose, second only to spending time with his wife and two cats. Having worked as the licensed massage therapist in a Chiropractor’s office, Gerrard is adept at working on specific orthopedic issues having to do with chronic and injury induced pain. He is also trained in Reflexology, Swedish, Tui-Na, Shiatsu, and Thai modalities. Gerrard tends to use a combination of these techniques. There is no one size fits all approach to his work as sessions are catered to every individual client’s needs.
