Lorisha began her studies at North Carolina Central University, earning a degree in Sports Medicine and Athletic Training. She has worked with athletes recovering from sports injuries and later developed an interest in eastern healing approaches and the mind-body connection. A graduate of the Finger Lakes School of Massage, Lorisha has practiced in chiropractic and physical therapy clinics as well as spas throughout NYC and Westchester. To her, healing is a continuous journey that nurtures balance through the mind-body connection. “Our minds and bodies keep the score—it’s our job to care for our whole selves, not just the aching parts.” Lorisha is also a Reiki practitioner, using symbols and chants to help realign the Chakra system. In her free time, she enjoys immersing herself in arts and culture that deepen her appreciation for the life she’s chosen.
